"Avoiding 10th spot" should never be the limit of our ambitions but it's the limit of our reality. With home crowds of less than 300 for virtually every home game, a stadium that is creaking and probably past its lifespan; teams like Cove and Edinburgh coming in and outspending us (and everyone else), and no sugar daddy with more money than sense waiting in the wings what do people really expect?
Berwick saved us last year and Brechin might do the same this year but our turn will come. Stenny, Cowdenbeath, Stirling, even the likes of Clyde when they're back in L2 will all be in the same boat. And probably all be in the same LL within the next 5 - 10 years.
No shit, talk of a play off place is delusional!

Absolutely amazing the number of post match comments on here from folk who weren't ACTUALLY at the match!! Was a very close match with nothing much in it. It could have gone either way 😁😁 Cheer up guys.

Krones subbed after 26 minutes. Need I say more. Hopeless, mcalister was clearly injured and krones was still off the park before him, he has cost us time and time again this season, last week he had a nightmare this week he was on his way to a repeat performance, thank god the manager spotted it early on, he has never had a good game,

I wonder who will be first to be post that were much better second half and won the half 1-0. That was a 6 pointer against a team who have lost 6 on the bounce. Don’t worry Rovers will get you back on the rails. Serious questions over the management’s recruitment and why we play the same duds week in week out. Always the optimist then Buchanan 🤣🤣

Glad I turned back on M74 on way down as the wind and snow was scary and I feared the worst ah Abington. This is a much better result than I expected. We did lose 4 nil to them this time last year. We have a decent squad and will improve. And I do think the criticism of Krones is unjustified. He has been excellent in recent matches. Get off his back. Can't wait till Tuesday evening. Peter We played them off the park at cliftonhill last time out why compare to last season Krones has been s**** all season, he did better around christmas time but never did I come out a game and think he played well, he has now directly cost us 14 goals this season and every goal that we conceed his arms go out as if to say where were you all, he isn't interested would be delighted for rovers to just leave him out the playing squad till his contracts up, you cheered him last week for kicking the ball at a 90 degree angle to the way he meant to kick it, even the players along side him dont trust him you can tell a mile away I will be delighted if hes never in a rovers tip again, after he was subbed he went in a huff walking straight to bench not even looking at a teammate and only moved to go in athalf time, when 2nd half was on he never looked towards at the park he is hopeless and a lost cause, we should have released him the day after he cost us 4 first half goals at dunfermline Cant wait till tuesday as we lost to the team sitting 7th so playing 3rd place will be great .... I like graham in the team, he offers a bit of bite when you need it though his decision making isn't the bestt

Sometimes you have a player who just isn't going to cut it and is a liability. That is Krones unfortunately. It's not about singling out a player just reality. Also fair enough to have a go at desktop fans but not regulars who miss the odd game out of common sense during this basketcase weather. Fans who watch them week in week out. What I will say is we lack leadership on the pitch with no obvious captain. We are as a unit a mentally weak team who buckle under pressure and when we go behind. There is a lack of self belief even when we have a good run and soon revert to old ways. Believe part of the management team was a sports psychologist. I don't envy his impossible task with this squad.

You say it was a close match with nothing much in it we had one shot on target to there 4 shots on target and they had more possession than us so I think there was a bit more than not much in it. We just weren’t good enough

We just weren’t good enough Without getting dragged into a debate. That is factually incorrect. Surely a goal counts as a shot on target, yes? Then Scott’s free kick which looked over the line from where we were and the boys in the box all celebrated as if it was in and the keeper clawed back out. That’s just off the top of my head. I wouldn’t believe the BBC if they said it was snowing out the back, I’d be straight to the window to check for myself 🤷🏽♂️

He took a bang on the hip, he was adamant he could run it off but it became clear that despite his will to carry on he wouldn’t be able to. He’s in at St Mirren this morning and will see their physio today, we will know more over the next day or so.
