Brutal to watch. Quite literally men against boys. Hard enough when you defend like that . Lewis Wilson ball watching for the second . Dreadful. We are offering absolutely zero going forward.

Thank god its only been £10 wasted and no travel time. Can't pass a ball 5 yards and we are extremely lucky it's only 2-0 at half time. Hopefully they can sober up a bit over HT cause that was shambolic

Where we might not have the same quality as they do we should certainly be able to work as hard as them.
We should be working far harder to close people down and in all honesty it's fortunate we aren't 4 or more down as they dropped off for 15 mins.
Got it lift the effort for the 2nd half

What on earth was that free kick nonsense. Two Rovers players running into each other whilst both go for the free kick. Bizarre if not embarrassing.

Perhaps trying the 80's tactic with Gordon Strachan and whoever the other guy was but not done anywhere near as well as that?

Looks like another season of hoping someone's worse than us. Utter garbage.

Stats from the Beeb:
Possession 60/40
Shots 9/4
Shots on target 8/1
Corners 6/3
Fouls 5/4
Not good enough but not as bad as I feared at 13 mins.

Looks like the only excitement we'll get this season is waiting for the rovers lotto results on Friday night. Next week's game crucial. Already!

Only positive is we were stronger in the last 15 minutes when I expected a pummelling . I think QP eased off a bit. Great chance for Moore in the last few minutes. What a hopeless start to the season.

As things couldn't get any worse, still not learning, this is starting to look like an up and down season if we don't start getting things put right.

A stark reminder -yet again -that in the modern game at this level a potful of money brings you guys who can get you through a season challenging at the top half. Next week against Brechin has a familiar 6 point ring about it ! But on a happier note grateful that we have football at all no matter what.

Only saw the last 30 minutes of the match for various reasons.
Better team were on top, then towards the end Rovers had three moves/chances that on another day might have gone in, maybe QP had eased off but Rovers were still fighting. Aitken is a real find, grafter and skilful.
Rovers fitness levels were quite impressive for a PT side against, remember, a FT side, so credit to the players and staff there.
There are some real doom and gloomers on here, two (2) league games in, and the white flag is being run up already, gie's peace.

I feel for the players and management - but it’s going to be a long, long season if we don’t add some experience to our ranks. There were some decent wee spells over the 90, but as alluded to by Bucky, it was men against boys for the most part.
Real danger that we could be the whipping boys. Defence very ropey and lacking leadership. Aitken does look decent, but limited service will breed frustration. Onwards...
