No idea what his day time job is but I'm sure he has been training with full time clubs during the season. Which might allude to his jump up in form. Dundee being one. Well these are the rumours on the terracing ! Charlie was with Hamilton and Partick Thistle so he will know exactly what is needed. Great move for him. All the best - best Rovers player we've seen since Chappy imo. There was an article about him, I think in the Record, that said that he didn't have a day job and basically trained like a full-time player on his own. Looks like this has worked well for him Good Luck Charlie - think you will fit in well at Dundee from what I've seen of them. Also Thanks for all the entertainment over the last 2 seasons - got to admit there were times during the Brogan debacle when I though I'd never again see a player at Cliftonhill that I actually looked forward to watching every week!

Also a great advert to the Club. Charlie dropped down a league or two, got more game time and became the player he is today.
It shows we can develop and nurture talented players and give them a platform to go on and reach greater heights.

I've been absent most of this season, but Charlie has definitely been superb for us in most games. Yes, he's had his off days but I agree that without him, we would be on the bottom but stranded with much less points. I do wish him well when he leaves and thank him for committing himself to keeping the Rovers in League 2 for this season.

If Dundee go up I wonder if he'd go out on loan and end up back with us?

If Dundee go up I wonder if he'd go out on loan and end up back with us? Very unlikely I would have thought. They obviously see potential in him and see him as playing at a higher level. Sending him to us (Lowland League / bottom of Spfl 2) is not going to be progress. Why buy a player to see him plateau. Will enjoy seeing his journey but it won't be at Cliftonhill.

Do you have to live so relentlessly in reality?

I see that Dundee have parted ways with their gaffer just days after winning the title. I hope this doesn’t negatively affect Charlie at this critical period.

Rumoured to be heading back south. Hope it doesn't impact on Charlie's move the way it did for Connor Shields move to Sunderland.

Read the comments of the Dundee fans on Twitter. They all seem to rate him but he needs game time. I think it's a good move for him.
