Over the last year the Rovers Memory Group have met and among other things during their monthly meetings have discussed the greatest Rovers players and moulded them into a team playing 4 3 3 .
Over the next week I'll unveil the final decision: not unanimous but one decided after many amicable discussions.
Firstly, the greatest goalkeeper was Jim Brown from the early 1970s with the sub goalkeeper being named as the more recent Derek Gaston.
Defence to follow.

First 2 from mid to late 60s and Scott in 3 separate spells between 2005 and 2015

Technically 4. 1 of the spells was a loan before he signed surely that's 2 seperate haha

I had the priviledge of seeing all bar John White. No doubt there were others from the 1920s, 30s - even Matt Carson from the 50s could have been included but to most (all ?) of us they are just names. Don`t disagree with the final selections.
