I’m genuinely baffled at why you think he is worth a punt next season? Did you see something the majority of us didn’t? Everyone's entitled to a second chance. No chance. He proclaimed he was going to do us proud on his personal march to glory. Will be a full time manager etc etc.

Time to pack his bags. One trick pony, unable to organise a defence and prone to blaming everyone and everything else rather than take responsibility.

I’m genuinely undecided about the manager. Who would people want in place if he was to go?

Was of the same opinion a number of weeks ago but after listening to excuses about the state of the pitch, small budget and worst for me was allowing the warts and all film (what a PR disaster that was for the club). The manager gambled by paying bigger wages to the so called better players then topping up the squad with youngsters. The 4 week spell where young Potts was in goal was very damaging as well. It could have been oh so different that's the annoying part of this. The same applies to the assistant manager too - he has to take responsibility for this also.

Not knowing what we can afford can only throw in some names. Number 1 would be James Ward if he would come back and wouldn't blame him if he wouldn't. Other possibles would be Billy stark and Jim Duffy.

What`s Wardy doing now.....never heard of him after he left Vers. Stark wouldn`t come back, I`m sure, and we sure as hell couldn`t afford Jim Duffy.

A good summing up, Bucky, don`t disagree with anything you have said. For those who attend week in week out has anyone seen any indications that Kerr and co can have us challenging for at least the play offs (top end !) next season ?

Basic mistakes made, albeit by guys on the park, but he assumes that overall responsibility, seemed completely unable to rectify it either. The writing has been on the wall for several months.

I'm not sure about the manager. My honest opinion was that he should have left by his own accord at Christmas/January time.
That would have at least have given someone else a chance at salvaging something from a team that was in free fall.
Let's be honest here we did not get relegated because we couldn't beat Ayr United away. We got relegated because of a woeful run of form in which our manager showed no sign of halting a string of horror results.
I wouldn't be totally against him being in charge next season but it would be with little confidence that he is capable of getting the best out of players.
There is also the added danger that if Rovers don't start well they could end up towards the bottom again. It happens at every level of football.
It's a big call and it has to be made soon.

If the manager does go would love to see Jim Duffy as he is now a free agent - but the usual issue around money would be the stumbling block.

Yip it was the same goals given away week in week out- personally I didn't think Airdrie and Forfar were any better than us. Forfar must have been laughing up their cuffs as our young keeper was chucking the ball into his own net.

Jim Duffy would be an amazing appointment, but would he drop down 2 divisions, I can't see it.

I'm genuinely staggered that anyone thinks Kerr is deserving of another chance or another season. He's the guy who signed these duds and then couldn't get any of them to defend. He's had 36 'chances' to get it right this season and fluffed his lines virtually every time.
Apart from a few early false dawns it was shambolic from beginning to end. Even when we were putting 5 past Alloa, that was just one of those freaky games. Parry didn't have another save to make that day; everything we did ended up in a goal. The only exception I'd say was away to QoS.
I agree with Tommy that if he had any integrity he would have walked. He should do it now as a minimum. Unfortunately football is filled with wee guys with egos the size of large continents with unwavering belief in their limited ability. So there's no chance of that happening.
Sad to think that 1 point would have kept us up but that's life. QP could point to the 2-2 game at Hampden where we stole a point in the last minutes.
Fresh start needed for next year when, like everyone else in L2, we're only one season like this one away from the LL. Happy days.
