Off to a good start today in the Coatbridge sunshine. Places left for this week and daily bookings taken as well as for the rest of the week.

Final 2 days of first week coming up. Numbers going up each day as word spreads of a first class football experience for our youngsters. Still places available for tomorrow and Friday.

Week 3 starts this morning and runs from 10 to 3. Registration from 9.30. It's been really successful so far with very positive feedback from kids and parents.

I think this is a great venture. I don't know whether other clubs do this sort of thing but you would think/hope that this will impress on the Coatbridge public just how much Albion Rovers are doing in their community to promote football amongst youngsters. If the Advertiser/Record are willing to publish the negative, belittling articles about the club, they should be willing to publish articles about the tremendously positive things The Rovers are and have been doing for the community. Also, I do hope many of the kids and their parents will come along to matches and boost the low attendance numbers.
