Hi, yes it's Jim Brown from Denny. He's my uncle, his funeral was on Saturday past. All the men in the family had on Rovers scarves in tribute to him - it was lovely x

Hello, Linda, my condolences. Although I have lived in England for the past 26 years, I do remember your dad well, standing in the wee enclosure in front of Rovers stand - giving the refs laldy ! What a lovely tribute, all the Rovers scarves on display at his funeral. Once a Rover - always a Rover.

My condolences to Jim’s family, a lovely man and a face that will be sadly missed from the usual spot he shared with Jim Alexander on occasions.

Really sorry to hear this news, we are a small bunch of fans and know each other by face if not by name. I've added a photograph of Jim to the website and I'm sure everyone will recognise him from watching the Rovers. Spoke to him on many occasions and was a real gent and a lovely man. The Club will be holding a tribute at one of the home matches. albionroversfc.co.uk/jim-brown-rip/Stephen.

That's very sad news indeed. One of our wee gang in the enclosure for all the time I've been going.

Jim was a real rovers diehard. I remember him appearing at many far flung grounds and supporting the team. Praying for comfort for the family.

Very to sorry hear of Jim's death while I was on holiday. He was a dedicated fan indeed often travelling to away games on his own even up to the last couple of years. Condolences to all Jim's family from all at the club and look forward to meeting you at the first home league game of the season when there will be a minute's applause in his memory.
