Just heard from a colleague that Partick Thistle fans have been receiving fines for parking in a shop car park when the shop was CLOSED! POOR SHOW FROM HOME BARGAINS.

Irrespective of whether the shop was closed or not, Peter, are their prominent signs saying no parking . They should just ignore any letters - don`t even acknowledge them. Do you think Home bargains will take court action - they would need toestablish that they had sustained a finacial loss, which, given the shop was closed, they cannot do.

These parking fines are from a private company and not enforceable by law.
As Grant says do not acknowledge the letters or confirm you were the driver.
Also do not try and appeal the ban .Just ignore.
