Absolute rubbish Chris. Lewis was immense. McGeough was great. And Walden was good too. Daniel Potts is improving too. There is definite improvement.
Remember these guys are mainly from junior teams. They are improving. And I'm usually the pessimist here.

Think about it we had 1 shot on target in 90 mins which went in the net
Half the team turned into passengers when the equaliser went in.
Not good enough
Manager is now a faliure. Forme improvement would be seeing out a game conceeding less than 2 goals

Time for plan B to start now, us loyal fans have a say in every matter that goes on with our football club, not just the Board, we need to get things fix out quick, as fans do we have a spokesperson to speak up for us.

I was there and witnessed a much improved Rovers team Well done gaffer and all the lads. They gave 100% and it looked like we'd win by a few goals until they came storming back in with a 442 shape in the 2nd half. Keep the improvement up lads. Proud of you all. Cannot wait until Saturday. Peter P. S. KEEP THE CHAIRMAN FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK Christ. When a 3-1 loss in the Challenge Cup is deemed acceptable...well, you know things are bad.

At work but just had a quick read at the back of the scandaltiser and i'm sure someone can post a link. Manager urges fans to show more guts and not hide behind forum making comments. There is reluctance to have a go at the players on the pitch as they are having a bad time but you have to comment on what you see and you are entitled to do so. Sort the mess you signed. You are the manager. Don't turn on the fans. That will be the final straw for many including this one. Ill still be there getting behind the team but there is only so much you can take and eventually it will be heard from the terraces. Quite simply we are appalling and the buck stops at those in charge. How long before he starts blaming the pitch. Don't know what we can do if he goes but if he is going to turn on the fans he should go now. Thank god I'm away on holiday for a couple of weeks. Think I'll delete my football scores app!

One thing I will say and that is there is no more patient fans in the history of Scottish football than Rovers fans.
Seen the fans stick by some appalling sides over the years so the manager can concentrate on the playing side. He doesn't need to tell the fans how to support the team.

Fans have every right to voice their opinions or disapproval. football is a business after all be it Real Madrid or Albion Rovers, fans are consumers who are buying the product and if said product is not good then every right to voice concerns.Glaringly obvious to anyone that its not working. Rovers fans have patience beyond belief, any other team with run of results we have had this season manager would be out the door already.

“Football without fans is nothing” - An ex rovers and Scottish football legend used this sentence.
Someone from the board might want to educate the manager of this as he is going right way about losing the small support that the club have. Fans are right to be peeved off with what they are PAYING to watch and can vent if they want. The manager should put all of his concentration on getting it right on the pitch with the players he signed rather than bothering his arse about what’s being said online. He’s getting paid to do a job and get results which so far he’s not done. It reeks of desperation to go to the media and have a pop at fans.

Hmmm - I think I'm between Chris and Peter's opinions here. Definitely an improved performance especially in the first half - real determination and guts being shown for the first time this season and attacking in numbers. Second half - not so much. Thought we sat back and invited them to get an equalizer and when they did there was only going to be one winner.
Still - need to remember we were without the new loan players last night ( their host clubs wanted then to play in the Colt teams) and it was easily our best away performance of the season so far.
There has been improvement over the last two games - no doubt about it - but there's still a way to go to get to the level required to get us off the bottom of the table. Hope we can take another step in the right direction on Saturday - home game, loanees back, goal drought broken - as Prof Cox says - things can only get better.

Oh it's all beginning to unravel isn't it? The final throw of the desperate dice - blame the fans ffs. So - right back at you John. Stop hiding behind the paper and get on this forum and defend the duds you signed. And stop leaving jaydee to half-heartedly put his tuppence-worth in and then decide he isn't going to comment any more on a particular thread when the going gets a little tough. Problem is, you can't defend the indefensible. Let's face it, if you think the comments on this, the most politest of polite forums, are bad; then you really are deluded. In fact, forget all that. Either get this team winning or get out and let someone else come in who knows what they are doing.

Quick apology to Paul as having read this thread properly (!) now I realise I blatantly plagiarised his post! Great minds and all that!
