At work but just had a quick read at the back of the scandaltiser and i'm sure someone can post a link. Manager urges fans to show more guts and not hide behind forum making comments. There is reluctance to have a go at the players on the pitch as they are having a bad time but you have to comment on what you see and you are entitled to do so. Sort the mess you signed. You are the manager. Don't turn on the fans. That will be the final straw for many including this one. Ill still be there getting behind the team but there is only so much you can take and eventually it will be heard from the terraces. Quite simply we are appalling and the buck stops at those in charge. How long before he starts blaming the pitch. Don't know what we can do if he goes but if he is going to turn on the fans he should go now. Thank god I'm away on holiday for a couple of weeks. Think I'll delete my football scores app! Oh it's all beginning to unravel isn't it? The final throw of the desperate dice - blame the fans ffs. So - right back at you John. Stop hiding behind the paper and get on this forum and defend the duds you signed. And stop leaving jaydee to half-heartedly put his tuppence-worth in and then decide he isn't going to comment any more on a particular thread when the going gets a little tough. Problem is, you can't defend the indefensible. Let's face it, if you think the comments on this, the most politest of polite forums, are bad; then you really are deluded. In fact, forget all that. Either get this team winning or get out and let someone else come in who knows what they are doing. Haha the going didn’t get tough, like you said this is a polite forum. I’m also a fan of this club have been since I was a young boy. So yeah I am hurting (copyright d7) and I’m happy to discuss my comments or anything else with any of the supporters in the GD lounge after the game on Saturday or any other home game as I always pop up afterwards.

I mean fair enough jaydee and maybe one day that'll be a good idea. But it's all a bit raw at the moment and the way this is going, the GD lounge after a game probably isn't the best time to be discussing all things Rovers. Even if it is your round!

Yeah you’re right it is a bit raw, for all of us. So can I ask that you stop having wee snipes at me. Haha if it’s my round it would need to be tea or coffee.... unless you have better contacts than me in the lounge haha

Yip, fair enough jaydee. I really don't come on here to make snide comments - believe it or not. So apologies if I have annoyed you/upset you/p1ssed you off.
And.......... I really don't want anything to derail the conversation that seems to be suggesting the current group of players is nowhere near the standard required to compete in L2. I'm probably in the minority on here who thinks the players are trying; I don't have a problem with their application or effort.
Folk aren't coming on this forum saying this stuff because they're bad people. I think we both agree this ain't that type of forum. They're saying It because that's what they are seeing on the park. That's the real issue.
So I genuinely wish you and all the management staff and players the very best. No doubt progress will be made.
Oh and mine's a skinny latte.

Would have thought that the management with all their junior experience would have developed thicker skins. Apparently not. All sounds desperate to me and an attempt to cover up a developing catastrophe by blaming everyone else instead of accepting responsibility.
