Brogan has to go, or at least pull on his boots to fire some goals in because he can do the same as certain players. Not good enough pure and simple

We were doing so well with 3 goals, but to get beat 5-3 is a very big blow for our first point today, i hope the board take notice of this, or do there care what goes on, how many games is it going to take before they do something about it.

I am gutted after that. Good game for the neutral except for the last goal which was a serious howler we seem to get punished for this, same thing happened against QP last week.Glad we scored goals and performance was better. Ironic that 2 ex-Rovers players scored but there you go. Just gutted because the lads deserved a point if not 3.

Just awful.
Heads need to roll - Brogan and his management team are first on the chopping block.
And I’m sorry, Mr Chairman, but you carry the can for this. Resign now.
We are going down, methinks...

At 3-3 Rovers were looking good and playing some decent stuff. Very cruel in the end and defensive disasters cost us. It was not all bad, but there ye go. It's another loss. A Berwick defender actually caught the ball with two hands in the penalty box. All very cruel indeed. Wish it was still the cricket season. Boo hoo!!!!

Im all for backing the team but i cant believe they got applauded off the park after another defeat and another 5 goals conceded. In my opinion the manager has to go now and hopefully we can salvage the season and the club. A crowd of 222 today,,pretty pathetic,,but that will keep dropping unless changes are made.
On the plus side we scored 3 goals but apart from that its pretty brutal to watch. Most times its a big lump up the park, usually to nobody, not that we can win many aerial battles anyway,,sloppy defending time and time again,,and we dont seem to offer any threat from st pieces. Just not good enough simple as that.

Time for hard luck stories ends after today, shipping 5 goals at home to Berwick simply unacceptable. something has got to change now. hard luck stories dont put points on the board.

All these teams at the bottom of the table, are playing sh*t, and playing against us are getting away with 3 points, and the Board, there in no mans land the now, wondering what to do, no money, well we wouldn't be in this mess with money hungry people giving money away like john Devlin on the board at the time, then a bank loan, oh and clears off back to his company,so board members have a good look at yourselfs and see whats happen at our family loved club, am a fan that pays into the players fun like most of us fans do, the funds that we provide are for players or new players and there wages, and not for paying of bank loans, which should be talked about/or brought up at the next board meetings, i really worry about our club whats going on in front of us fans at this time.

Bit more detail this week. Thought I’d make Ben’s job a bit easier. No need to thank me.
One thing I've noticed - John is always out early leaving the team in the dressing room to have a final discussion on tactics, approach to the game and maybe even the nite oot afterwards. Not sure why he does that but it's clearly working...........
Straight from the kick off I feared the worst. Fish kicked off aiming for a combination of Watson and the corner flag. It's clearly a tactic designed to pin Berwick back deep in their own half. It's straight out of an under 5s game.
But we did get off to a great start. Mclear worked hard to win a corner, forcing the Berwick defender into a mistake. The corner when it came in wasn't cleared properly. It fell to Murdoch about 15 yards out and he fair skelped it in, taking a wee deflection as it did so. The perfect start.
We didn't look comfortable though and Berwick won a corner which was pretty poorly defended with no Rovers challenge; the ball eventually virtually being cleared off the line after 5 mins.
It was fairly end to end stuff though and following some good work by Watson, he created a decent shooting chance. Unfortunately, his first shot was blocked but he followed up and shot just wide from about 20m. But then some terrible defending led to the equaliser. A cross came in from the Berwick right and was missed by 2 defenders and their striker. However, their guy followed up at the back post to hammer it in from 5 yards. 1-1.
Part of the story of the game was written in the first half when a veeeeery long range effort from Gracie was attempted. It was sure worth a try but didn’t trouble the keeper. And then some more dodgy Rovers defending. Ball in from left went behind everyone but thankfully no one following up for Berwick. And then it was back to the Rovers up the other end when decent work saw a good cross played in but no takers. It was a fairly open game at this stage after just 15 mins.
Then probably the first turning point in the game for me. A decent through ball saw our defence all at sea. The Berwick striker turned well and to be honest, the ball and him were going nowhere. Inexplicably, Potts dived in and the ref gave a penalty. I don’t think it was a penalty, but give these refs a decision to make and they’ll make an absolute mess of it. Potts inexperience showed I reckon. So that was 2-1 after 25 mins. Paul Willis scoring. Welcome back Paul.
By the time 30 minutes had elapsed, Berwick had attempted 3 long range efforts which hadn't come close. I reckon they were told to shoot on sight and you can only speculate why that might be. At the other end, some great work in the box by McGeogh saw him with a great turn and shot forcing a save and a corner. And then the equaliser. A great 'Hollywood' pass from Wharton to Watson from lefty to right. Watson shrugged off the defender and crossed for a tidy finish by Mclear in off the post. Shortly after, Potts made a great save with his legs after their striker was allowed to waltz through the defence way too easily. Then from a Rovers corner, Fish volleyed just over from outside the box. Meanwhile back at the other end another low ball into the box from the left was missed by the Rovers defence. Fortunately a poor touch by the striker allowed Potts to gather. Then it was Rovers turn to shoot just wide.
2-2 at HT
John out ahead of players again after HT - still working well for us. Oh, and Ronnie won the HT draw lol! He donated the money though (half to the club and half to charity) so a very nice gesture.
Then a contender for goal of the season. Berwick had a free kick which Willis took. It was charged down twice. The ball then broke to Gracie. Just as he hit it, someone from the crowd shouted - "what are you doing"!!!!! However, Gracie's shot lobbed the keeper from virtually the half way line. The Berwick keeper got a hand to it but couldn’t keep it out! What a goal!!!! And what a riddie for whoever the shouter was!!
So, the game was still end to end at that point. First, another chance for Berwick, where a cross was headed over. Then a Rovers chance - an acrobatic effort from Mclear which was saved well. Then another Berwick corner missed by everyone, followed by some good work between Reid and Wilson which won a corner for Rovers.
Berwick's third came from a free kick. A good ball in was challenged but not well enough and a good flicked header beat Potts quite easily. Poor defending, not sure about the keeper; 3-3.
Still end to end at that point. A good Rovers move broke down and Wharton got completely the wrong side of their guy who got a good cross in but the shot went wide. Then Rovers up the other end saw Wilson cut in well, but he over ran it. That was a pity; it was a good chance. This was followed by a long Berwick ball over the top. Their guy did well to control it but it got away from him and Potts smothered well. Rovers then won a free kick right on edge of box. The crowd were looking for a penalty but we didn't get much out the ref today. Fish hammered the free kick in but it just evaded Wharton. Berwick went straight up the other end and a good ball saw the striker stretch to connect but put it just past. Then a good run down the left by sub Kearney saw 2 good crosses charged down. And a good shot by McGeogh was well saved.
I guess anyone could have scored but Berwick were the team that took their chances. A good Berwick move saw their guy break down the right. A good ball in and they finished well for 4-3. And then a terrible, terrible mistake by McGeogh. He completely missed the ball for a simple clearance. Tbf the Berwick striker finished really well, beating the last defender and steadying himself before pulling the trigger for 5-3. And that was that.
Fish was motm which I agreed with although an honourable mention to Gracie for his goal. Crowd was 222.
Goals are like buses then, wait weeks for 1 and then 3 come along at once. What can you say?
Fairly lengthy report then. Just trying to put a bit of balance in as opposed to saying we were poor. Plenty endeavour and commitment from the guys but I've never had a problem with that. They are honest 'pros'.
But........... this is where we are folks. Decent enough performance - no mistake. But Berwick are poor. Just not as poor as us! Berwick may well have signed duds from Musselburgh and elsewhere. But their duds are better than ours. We are, quite simply, not good enough.
So, a good fighting display over the piece. But the same outcome. A few disgruntled fans at the end but nothing serious. Plenty applause for the team which for the first time I didn't join in. Fair enough applauding the endeavour but as someone once said - this is a results business. It's not the guys fault they're not good enough for this level.
Overall, just not good enough. I haven't changed my mind since the meet the manager night. This was a gamble and we're now a busted flush. I can't see how we aren't doomed after this. With 30 + games still to go.................................

He is totally hindered by a bad defence last year and this however he isn't good enough
We can't allow somone to learn on the job in this situation
Poor show from rovers
Manager should do the decent thing and walk

Berwick have Elgin at home next week, if we lose against Clyde and they win, there will be a 9pt gap.

Don’t get me wrong great to finally cheer and have some hope for 15-20 minutes. The fact I was going to praise the effort of a team conceding 5 tells you the story of this season. Defensively an absolute shambles. Guys that just aren’t up to it . Ten competitive games played and they seem to constantly take it in turns to switch off completely or do some kamikaze move that leads to a goal. I’ve wanted to give it time to hopefully see improvement, reality is lots of them are just not good enough. I don’t think a change of manager would lead to us winning the league but surely the board must now be thinking that this is really not working and we looked absolutely doomed. No game for the old firm today, decentish weather and 222 could be bothered making an effort to see it. Shame we couldn’t take anything but teams that lose 5 at home deserve to get beat. If a change is made it can’t be any worse. The club is dying.

We could be set for some awkwardly embarrassing new records this season - already given the new Edinburgh City their record victory and when did Berwick last score 5 at Coatbridge. I fear there is more to come - entertaining for a neutral but grim for the dedicated.
