The time to act is NOW. It is now painfully clear that Brogan – and his management team – aren’t up to the job. In my view, it is almost certain that he will oversee our relegation to the Lowland League. Unless, of course, he is relieved of his duties by the Board of Directors. Our Chairman has the opportunity to save face here. If he acts decisively, and wields the axe, our SPFL status could be retained. I would ask Ronnie to admit his shortcomings and atone for the appointment. The gravity of the situation demands such action. If the coming days/weeks see no action and/or statement from the club, I fear that the situation will have spiralled so far out of control that it’ll be beyond repair. The future of our club is at stake here and the situation is fluid. Perhaps a signed letter from the fans could be a next step? Failing this, some form of protest could take place. Ideally, this would have no financial impact but would send a clear message to the BoD. That message? · You have appointed the wrong man · The players aren’t up to the standard we expect · Crowds are dwindling as we remain rooted to the bottom of the table · All the PR in the world can’t cover up the fiasco unfolding before us · JB has made promises he can’t keep and, therefore, should be sacked and replaced with someone who has experience in the SPFL · Once replaced, we would ask you to seriously consider your positions
The clock is ticking and, as I’ve mentioned recently, our 136 year history could come to an abrupt end. How awful that would be – especially if it was on our watch…

Excellent post, Jordie, sensible yet demonstrating real concern and passion. I hope this - and other posts - makes the Chairman and his co-directors pause and think long and hard about the club`s plight, how and why it has got to this situation, what they can do about it, and indeed if they are the appropriate people to take the club forward.

Jordie you should seriously stand to be on the Board. This is what the club needs

One thing is for certain. There is not another club in the country that would stand by a manager after the start that Rovers have had this season.
We stood by Brian Kerr and watched an inevitable slide into relegation.
The board need to come out and back the manager or get in a replacement before we end up marooned at the bottom.

Having now listened to John Brogan’s post-match ramblings from Saturday, I’m more convinced than ever that he has to go immediately. He had very little to say and his almost passive tone failed to inspire confidence. It is quite clear that, after just a handful of league games, he is completely and utterly bereft of ideas. Any Chairman worth their salt would have grave concerns after listening to the audio. The radio silence continues…

As someone who does not know all the ins and outs of running the Vers I am loathe to criticise the board. What I will say is that the silence is deafening which isn't good for all associated with the club. Bit of bunker mentality seems to have taken over but understandable giving the situation. Would be nice to hear something and hope that something is at least happening behind the scenes to improve things.

business is all about decisions Jordie and you have showed better sense of decision making in your posts than the current board
