Ian Murray named as the new Airdrie manager, once again the rovers miss out. He was on the short list for the rovers job. The club is a JOKE.

You’re assuming he’s going to be a success at Airdrie before he’s even started. He didn’t do too well at St Mirren.
He was on shortlist but wasn’t interested once budget became known, so no big deal.

Good Young manager, I am surprised the amount of folk that know the clubs budget for this season. Do you know for certain that he walked away after he found out what the budget was going to be??

Was the excuse not peddled at the time that he had to give a month`s notice before quitting his post in Norway and could not take up the Rovers job immediately ?

For those thinking that Rovers missed out on Ian Murray I don't think this was ever on. Playing budget and notice given to his current club aside I doubt if we could have afforded his wages alone. Also how on earth do you go from Ian Murray to appointing John Brogan?
