What is the situation with Brogan`s staff, particularly the coaches messrs Mitchell and Gemmell , no news that they have resigned as well. Will they be taking training and the team next Saturday??? They are the ones who have been doing the training and coaching the team and are therefore part of the problem of the position we are in.
Also any new manager coming in is unlikely to take on Brogan`s coaches? Therefore, in that situation will they need to be paid off, or if indeed they were not directly employed by the club, but by Brogan as his backroom staff and should have left when he did???

So who will take the training and the games until the new manager is appointed?

I am sure that `senior `pros like Gary Fisher and Brian Wharton could organise training until a new manager arrives. That way it is less messy for the new man to have to deal with the former manager`s staff on top of all the other problems he will inherit.

OK so if Wharton and Fisher organise training...... Who will pick and take the team until a new manager comes in, which could possibly take weeks?

They could....they know the players as well as anybody...either way it is a very unsatisfactory situation...not least for Mitchell and Gemmell

Surely you'd want your 2 best players playing. If so we'd have no one on the sidelines giving instructions. It does put the coaches in a bit of a situation but I'd rather have them there until the new manager comes in. Also who would say fish and Wharton would want that responsibility?

Just thinking out loud...of course you are right in what you say about Gary and Brian not wanting to take the responsibility, tbh don`t think Gary has wanted to be around the way things have gone.

From the website: Following the resignation of manager John Brogan, after our Scottish Cup defeat, the club has advertised for a new manager.
In the meantime, Colin Mitchell and Scott Gemmell will take charge of training and will prepare the team for our next league match against Queen’s Park.
