Fishers certainly not lazy. He has made a habit now of going into most tackles with the studs up, which for an experienced player makes you wonder what he thinks the outcome of that will be

QP could have had any score they liked today. Similar to the game at Hampden - they controlled the game after going in front and allowed Rovers to faff and huff and puff in possession knowing they lack, in abundance, everything you need to win a game.
Granted we did create a few chances today and could have been 1-0 up if Cunnigham had squared to Watson when through on the keeper. Forrester looked like he might be decent. Wilson probably deserved his man of the match. Outside of that it was the same clueless performance from a team who are way out of their depth in this league. They only thing that's changed is that the architect of this mayhem has done the decent thing and gone. The omnishambles that remains needs cleared out - I may have mentioned that already.
Seriously - these guys are getting paid to put in that kind of performance and with my f*cking money. Simply cannot do the basics, week in and week out. Most of them have the first touch of a new trampoline. It's actually embarrassing. Even from 2 feet out we can't score, when we've two players 'attempting' to beat the keeper - that was our best chance of the second half. As for the final goal, the striker has the beating of the defence for pace - similar to my dad tbf. He tries to square it with 3 Rovers defenders round him. He gets the break of the ball and finishes well. But what are the defenders playing at? Can't defend, can't make a tackle, can't mark a man, have no positional awareness or clue that they should be covering the other striker.
It's brutal. The fact we are still within touching distance of Stirling and Berwick is astonishing but it's the only thing that gives me hope that all is not lost ....... yet.

Just p1sses them off. Having said that he is our best player by a mile.

We are now in a mini league of three with Berwick and Stirling. The group of death as eloquently put in another era. These 2 away fixtures coming up against those guys will determine our fate even at this stage of the season. We had plenty of endeavour today but it still looks like kids in the playground in the box at times - we either all rush for it or we all leave it. The new boss will have to start at the very beginning - This is a ball !!

Well done to Colin and Scott for pulling together the team in difficult circumstances. The scoreline flattered QP.

Well done to Colin and Scott for pulling together the team in difficult circumstances. The scoreline flattered QP. Actually could not disagree more. C and S should be gone with JB, they are as much a part of this as he is. The scoreline in no way, shape or form flatters QP. They took their foot off the gas at 2-0; the job was well and truly done by then. Cannot fault the guys for effort at any point of the season so far for me. But that just makes it all the more apparent they are not good enough. It really is that plain and simple.

I am giving some recognition to the guys who stayed and put the team out. If they had also walked, who would be taking the team? You? Doubt it. We know where the club and the team are. There is no need to continue p***ing all over everything. There comes a time when the shooting stops that time is now. We are now in a transition period so cut the remaining guys some slack. I have no expectations for on field performances. My attention is to the shortlist of applicants and getting the right person in place well before the Berwick game. In my mind the next two games are write offs. And as for QP. Any half decent team would have beaten them today. We gave them the goals, as per the usual this season, it wasnt 3 going on 10. Not by a long shot.

Giving recognition to (at best) mediocrity is exactly the sort of misguided approach that got us into this mess and kept us there for a dozen or so games. It might as well have been me who put the team out there today because they are that bad it really wouldn't make any difference. The reserves guy or anyone else in a similar capacity would have done.
This needs p1ssed over until it is no more. Transition period; really? We'll transition when this shower of duds is persuaded to move along and we can replace them with some players who have the basics and are physically capable of competing in this league.
It was three going on as many as QP wanted as I said earlier. They shut up shop at two and still scored again!!! QP aren't world beaters but they're organised, strong and more than capable of competing in this league. They'll be safe at the end of the season in at least mid table.

Oh dear. Over the head it goes. Im giving a break to some guys in difficult times, work with me here. They are people at the end of the day. The experiment has failed. Transition period, of course. Between 1 manager and the next.
As for QP shutting up shop? You must be joking. This wasnt a controlled defensive masterclass it was our poor decision making and inability to get anything from set pieces (corners) that seen to our demise as per usual.
I see you agree with me as you put it beautifully that QP are capable of competing in this league and will finish mid table!?
Im focusing my attention on the next appointment whilst tipping my hat to the current guys and thanking them for their service. If the next appointment is poor, no doubt blaming finances, then its game over.

Again I beg to differ. It's not the decision making or set pieces. It's the fact we are absolutely cr@p and have a team full of players who are not up to L2 standard.
It was a master class in allowing the opposition all the possession in the world knowing they could play til next October and not score. That was all they had to do and indeed that is how to grind out 3 points and move on.
And whilst it's in my head, QP had a perfectly good goal chalked off. Our keeper didn't gather the ball and their defender knocked it over the line. At 2-0 it didn't really matter tbf.

Brogan's legacy today. A clear out is required. d7 - You got the cash to pay off all the current players & then agree contracts with the new guys??

Oh deary me. That was indeed rank today.
We looked so disorganised and devoid of ideas when we had chances in front of goal.
Never mind, 2 winnable games coming up - the top 2 in the League!!!

Sorry but next weeks game is nothing - whether we were top of the league, middle of the league or bottom then Peterhead away is always a tough game. This is not a big game. If we ever leave there with a point regardress of league position it was always a boost
