Hi All, This year Summerlee will be hosting an exhibition celebrating Rovers 100 years at Cliftonhill. It will run from 6th July - 27th October and will be featuring my photography of the club, Wilma Smith's excellent film 'We Are Albion' and some items from the Robin Marwick collection. I'm on to ask if there is anyone out there who would like to donate an item for display? Something which has a story attached to it if possible. Scarves, shirts, flags, memento's, old photos, noteable programmes... anything you think would be interesting. If there is a short anecdote or reason why the item means something to you so much the better.
Your property will be under the care of the Museum and if you have anything could you please contact Clare Weir at the Museum: WeirC@culturenl.co.uk
Clare is the curator who is helping organise the exhibition. A few of you have already spoken to me about donating - many thanks for this. I like the sound of your memorabilia.
Many thanks in advance, Iain McLean
PS. Can the admin pin this please?

That`s great, Iain, I passed over all my bits n bobs to Robin Marwick when we moved to Nottinghamshire in 1992, so will be in his collection.

Really wish I'd kept my Rovers rosette from the Partick Thistle Cup game years ago.
I also had a blue and white sew on cloth Rovers badge at one point and a Rovers boys season ticket costing £2.00.
Oldest stuff I have now is programmes mostly 70s/80s but some earlier ones.

If anyone has Brogan's number they can maybe give him a call and ask him if he would mind awfully handing in our dignity and self-respect. Be nice to have them back and on display.

Metallic car badge. 47-48 season ticket (4 years before me). I will see what else Metal car badge now that's a vintage item. Used to sell them in the club shop in the late 70's if I remember correctly. I think Andy Morrison tried selling his on ebay a couple of years back - don't know how much it went for.
