He's not been seen at Cliftonhill for some time, but those of a certain vintage will remember Stevie. He has passed away after some time of poor health.

Really sad news Pat although I knew he hadn’t been keeping well. My thoughts are with you and the rest of your family. Have some good memories of Steve from the old days.

Sorry to hear the sad news Pat. Like Sam, I have good memories of Stevie from my early days following the Rovers and also playing with him in the Supporters Club team. Used to meet him on the train occasionally and was still the same Stevie despite his health worries. Condolences to you and the rest of the family. Alastair

Aw, Pat, so, so, sorry to hear your sad news, I got to know Steve since he was a laddie when I would come up to meet up with you at your house up near the hospital. Sincere condolences to you and your family

Very sad news, Pat. I worked in the same office as Stevie for many years and often saw him again at Cliftonhill on Saturdays (and, indeed, in the Glasgow hostelries we both used to frequent!). He will be sadly missed. Sincere condolences to you and the family. Regards, Bill.
