I thought I'd get this going early.
Rovers 1-1 Morton with Rovers getting the extra point by winning the penalty shootout despite Derek Gaston doing his utmost if he features. (remember that any game level at 90 mins goes straight to penalties for an extra point).

Tough to call this. We're conceding goals, but at same time also scoring and opposition has also been quite decent thus far. It's got a 3.3 draw all over it and pens? Could got either way.

Gaston, if he plays, will be the difference, AR lose 0-1. Gaston, no play, AR 3-2 win.

Another HUGE game for our guys tomorrow.
A big crowd is guaranteed.
I'll go for a 1-1 draw and a penalty shoot-out!

Just visiting for the day! Morton have lost 10 players (including both top scorers, best defender, and the guy in midfield that was player of the year) from last season and have brought in 2 so far! Believe we also have injury problems for today, with two of our better remaining players unlikely to play. Think our manager is waiting to do what he did last season, make a load of loan signings at the last minute..
The 5/2, or whatever is available on an Albion Rovers home win, is a great bet!!

Just seen Morton's starting 11. Only THREE players that were regulars last season. A couple of new signings and several boys that were lucky to get on the bench last year. Weakest team I've seen us fielding in a long time.

Great performance that merited 3 points 2 penalty claims turned down the second was a definite penalty Good to see Callum Ferguson getting Man of the Match , which was well deserved

So rovers got a point in the 0-0 draw is that right, and who ever wins on penalties get the extra point, is that right.

So rovers got a point in the 0-0 draw is that right, and who ever wins on penalties get the extra point, is that right. Spot on. So Kilmarnock top the group with 3 points after beating Clyde. Morton are second with 2 points and then we're third on 1 point. Haven't been able to make any of the games yet for various reasons but I've got my season ticket, and my sons, for another year. I blame the 'pay what you can afford' season ticket! Can't wait for the league season to start.

The guys played excellently yesterday against a good full-time team. We could and should have won it with their keeper making a superb save and 2 very good penalty claims waved away by the dodgy ref.
Pity it had to be a Club legend to miss our first penalty but they're a lottery anyway.
1 point on the board anyway.
We can still qualify!!
