David's dad was given the medal as a thank you. the chap Munro was his friend.

Must be difficult selling something as personal as that. I doubt it. Assuming the seller is not a Rovers fan, they will be thinking 'how much can I get for this'? This medal, or a very similar one, came up on eBay a few years ago with an eye-watering asking price, and was the subject of some comment on this messageboard at the time. A player's league-winner medal from that season would be an amazing thing to have (for a Rovers fan anyway). But something presented to a Director by the Council? It doesn't quite have the same resonance.

I This medal, or a very similar one, came up on eBay a few years ago with an eye-watering asking price, and was the subject of some comment on this messageboard at the time.
