A more serious post now, we have a team of kids. We have no voices on the park. We need a leader on the pitch who will be able to organise the team and hopefully talk the younger guys through the game. We have players who can score goals but you can only do so much if you can’t keep the ball out of the net at the other side. The team is out of their depth, sadly.
With the team that the manager has built this season, I don’t think anyone could get any better from them. The results are a reflection on the team as a whole. Individually, there could be some good players but as a squad/team it’s just not right.

5 goals conceded from 5 set pieces, the first two being identical. It's clear that we aren't learning from our mistakes, and that we are woefully inept at defending any sort of ball into the box. If this hasn't been sorted by now then the worry is that we are going to be the same all season, it must be the players who aren't coping with whatever is being put in place for defending them, its not difficult to stay with your man and challenge for the ball...

Just watched the "highlights" again on my lap-top.
Have to say the 2 City free-kick goals were superb strikes.
Matt Aitken's goal was a great finish too.

I have to agree with Paul Rovers that we need a leader on the park to lead the team. January window hurry up.

Peter Peter, that issue should have been addressed by the manager before a ball was kicked in this league campaign. To expect better from a team with only a two or three players with any SPFL experience is delusional. Brogan mark 2.

Brogan #2 I can completely agree with.
Just a thought, who done the scouting to bring these players in? No disrespect to any of the boys, but has Reid physically went and watched them before signing? The guys on loan, has he seen them play or has he spoken to their respective club managers who have given glowing reports and they have been signed on that basis?
I remember a 16 year old being signed from Motherwell, has he ever been played?

It’s at the discretion of individual clubs whether or not they allow scouts in.

Pumped again. Serious questions of those at the helm now need to be asked, in my honest opinion. We aren’t doing the basics right and confidence must be at an all time low in the dressing room. Dreading the next game already!

If your team is 3 up, or 3 down, then you want them to battle minute one to minute 90, nowadays 90 +.
That is the point Ronnie is making.

Players giving 110% and battling to the final whistle is a given for any serious football team. Our problem today was the game being a dead duck after 15 minutes.
