I see Edinburgh in a statement yesterday looking to play a lot of their games on a Friday night to try and maximise their gates. Been tried by Rovers a few times with no obvious affect.

Edinburgh have virtually no support; they might as well try it! (They brought 9 to Cliftonhill when they were 2nd in the league two years ago, when we won 3-2).

Also to do with the fact the handed in their leaving notice to ainslie Park only to discover Meadowbank is behind schedule, The only slot available was a Friday night

I see that our opening fixture has been reversed. On Sat 31st July we are now at home to Edinburgh City.
Because of this the home game scheduled for Saturday 6th November will now take place in Edinburgh on Friday 5th November which is of course bonfire night and the anniversary of the 7-2 win over Airdrie United in 2011.
City are playing all home games on Friday nights.

City are playing all home games on Friday nights. This is due to Ainslie Park not being available on Saturday 31st and the rules donโt allow the first game of the season to be played before the official kick off which is 3pm on the 31st, therefore ruling the Friday night out. ๐๐ผ

Yup Edinburgh Messed up massively
After handing in their intention to leave ainsley Park their spot for alternative Saturdays from Spartans was given to Lothian Thistle Huchison Vale,
And as said earlier with 2 women's teams playing their on Sundays, the only option is for Edinburgh to play all their home games on a Friday night,
Do not let them kid people on that its an attempt to get more fans, they for me are one of the most unlikeable teams in the league
