I see that the newly created Midlands League, North Caledonian League and Northern Superleague who were/are juniors have agreed to join the pyramid.
They join at tier 6 and the winners of the 3 leagues (subject to licensing) will play-off to win the right to play-off against the team at the foot of the Highland League.

The North calidonian league has always been a senior league at that level without having promotion to the Highland league, a few teams have stepped up in the past including wick and Fort william

If my post was unclear I was only referring to the Northern Superleague as being juniors.

I think this is what put to bed the argument of brechin being in the lowland league as they would be a Midlands League team
