Stranraer after losing a few players got off to a sticky start but have stabilised. I can’t see anything other than a home win here- would love to be proved wrong. The thing is I don’t think we as a team are a million miles away- would love to see a settled defence as it’s been a case of musical chairs for the left back position. Sorry for going on about this but let’s get a natural left back in there who really wants to play in that position rather than a utility player.

The left back seems to be a problem for teams in general including Scotland. Perhaps we could clone Barry Russell! Some of our on the deck football has been impressive but the strikers also need to start taking their chances. And less of the aimless punts up the park! Nae hoofin it except to clear the lines! Can't see a win though.

Agree ROTR that these prices are an ouch and an ooft. I’m sure Stranraer have their reasons for this pricing structure but that is £2 more than our adult price and £3 more than our concessions and youths. Pricing is always a bone of contention but I would say our BOD have got it about right. Ronnie

Stranraer seem to be doing their usual getting into their stride when they have ourselves up next ! Was a difficult watch last year in the second half down there ,and we need to be tight with no shoddiness at the back as well as sharp up front. A bit of a cliché but we need a result - happy with 1-1 but a bit feart about this to say the least ! With the weather a now going into Autumn mood this weekend may be an increase in live stream - a bit cheaper by the look of it !

Please tell me that Boris the Triallist in Forfar is playing for us on Saturday. If he is, I can see us winning. He is nippy and gives us an edge we are missing up front. The weather is forecast as poor for Saturday. Just hope the journey is going to be worth it if I go. Peter

Getting st least a point today has become even more important after Cowdenbeath’s great point last night against Edinburgh City.

Beat again, what is going on, we are not doing well again on results, and bringing in young loan players that don't have the experience, we need experience players in.
