I was very surprised when the crowd was announced as 238 yesterday, so I decided to count it myself, as it looked like a normal-sized Rovers' crowd to me. I waited until the second-half had started and counted every spectator. There were 357 at the match yesterday. I handed this figure into the directors'box. Ten minutes later the crowd was re-announced as 301. In the papers this morning it was given as 238, so very embarrassing indeed.
Can I ask what is going on here???

The figure announced at the St. Mirren game was also adjusted upwards later although I think the paapers reported the higher one.

But I don't understand why these obviously false figures are being announced: it only makes it look as if crowds have suddenly plummeted. What is to be gained from that? Perhaps one of the directors could explain this strange development?
