All the best to Alasdair who goes through an operation in the next few days. Iโm sure I speak for all members of the Rovers family in wishing Alasdair well and hope to see him back at his beloved Cliftonhill soon.

Thank you! I've come out of it ok, just need to rest & build up strength, enough to get on that train for Coatdyke again. That will be one of the first things I'll do.

I had a bit of a scare this last weekend when I suddenly found I had vision, balance and stomach problems and had to be taken to A & E , where I saw 3 doctors and had 3 scans, which revealed nothing but confirmed that I hadn't had a stroke or heart attack. They said there was no connection with the cancer event, that's definitely goneThe next morning to my amazement & immense relief, the symptoms had mostly disappeared and I was able to go home on patient transport. I'm feeling better now but will have to take things easy. It's so frustrating to come at a time when I want to get up to Cliftonhill and give Sandy Clark and our players my active support. As many of you as you can. please get along to every game asB that'll show them that wepre really behind them.

Hi Alasdair I'm sure I sat next to you and was talking to you at a Montrose game up there many years ago, sorry to hear you have been ill but your health comes first and I hope you are feeling much better soon! We hope to see you back at Cliftonhill in the future and we will all contribute with our attendance at the remaing matches, willing the team on to do well and stay up! Take it easy in the meantime and I hope you make a complete recovery and feel back to yourself real soon.

Thank you, all for your kind wishes. Means a lot, I can tell you,.. Fergie, that sounds like a game we lost 4-0 & I had to run like fun to catch the train to Edinburgh and then Morpeth! One of a few where I enjoyed swanning round the towns before kick off and the company, such as yours but would rather forget the performance that day!

I thinnk it was back in 2002 Alasdair when John Mcveigh or Peter Heatherston was manager, I can't rember the score but I think we either drew or won the game. We had a good team at the time! Anyway I hope we can stay up and i'm sure that will be a great tonic for you if we do :-)
