The Scottish Lowland Development League have announced that Rovers have withdrawn from the league and our results have been expunged from the table.
Disappointing news, I did like attending on occasion the games at Cliftonhill. We await confirmation from Rovers and hopefully an explanation.

After consideration, the club has decided that it will be more beneficial for its signed players not to be restricted to Under 20s fixtures on Friday evenings, but to arrange a series of Sunday/ midweek games at Reserves level between now and the end of the season instead.
Such fixtures are presently being organised.
To support the First Team, we now believe it is a priority that players who are, at present, unable to get important game time- players from the First Team bench or those returning from injury, and players too old for the SLDFL games who have used up their allowance of six over-age appearances - play regular matches. It would not be possible to commit to both types of fixture; use of the stadium pitch and also financial considerations would preclude this.
Consequently, and with regret, Albion Rovers FC has withdrawn from the SLDFL League with immediate effect. Games against Vale of Clyde, Cambuslang Rangers, Larkhall Thistle and Kilsyth Rangers are currently being arranged, with others to be added.

Jordan, So are all the players currently playing in this team going to be staying with the club or will there be players leaving due to this?

I wouldn’t envisage players leaving as a result of this, no.
