Earlier in the season myself and a few others were very much "we need to wait half a dozen- a dozen league games before we take stock of where we actually are".
Given we have now played 12, and are over 1/3rd of the way into our league season where does everyone see where we are?
For me, 16 points after 12 games is verging on embarrassing. 15 goals for is pathetic. Given the level we are at now, this is way beyond the low expectations I think most Rovers fans have. Be interested to hear other opinions cause I can't believe how low we have sunk and I see nothing that makes me think things will improve.

I feel disappointed tbh, this team are a good team but we need more wins, draws are fine as well but we need to start picking up more 3 points, I said before the start of the season we wouldn’t win the league but I expected us to be in the top 7 at least so yeah safe to say the season has been disappointing so far, really hope the rest of the season is better

I refer to my answer in the Gala predictions thread. Goal scoring our Achilles heel in such a competitive league. Our extended cup ties in various tournaments hasn't helped in regular Saturday league action to build momentum. This year will be a learning experience and if can bolster the squad in the New Year with some experience and retain best crop of players then our Long Term solutions will build a better future. I have heard that phrase recently ?

We have been defensively sound from the first game this season. Midfield works very hard and gets the job done although it’s a bit light physically. As has already been mentioned our Achilles heel is up front. Without Joe in the team we seem to lose that attacking threat and although we seem to be sufficient in numbers in most of the other positions we don’t have any depth there. Nyah seems to be a fans favourite but I think he could do a bit more in a game, the lad has it in him as he has shown in flashes. Bright is a raw big lad whose learning the game but with his physique he should be bossing most defences around.
I scoffed at big Chris when he predicted a mid to lower league position finish. After watching most of the games so far I don’t think he’ll be far off the mark.
My overall worry is will we be able to hold onto these lads next season. It’s fine saying they’re all pretty young and learning the game but I’d like them to take that learning into next season as this one can only be looked at as a settling in period
What would be enlightening is what the long term plan for the club as a whole is.?

Not where we should be with the squad we have this year.
At the league Cup game again Annan we looked liked world beaters and we haven't been as good since.
Second best defence in the league. Just need to start converting.
In terms of long term plan. We can build only if players on at elong term contracts.
