The big fella will definitely be in attendance at this meeting. No doubt a few tricky questions will be asked of the BOD Will be interested to see if a financial statement is given.

Probably some time next year, although I fail to understand why it takes so long given the books closed on the financial year at the end of June. For a relatively small company like AR there should be no reason why the financials cant be ready for presentation to shareholders before the end of this year, or at latest (due allowance for Christmas and New Year) end of January next. The BOD should be in a position to give attendees at this meeting some idea of the financial state of the club without going in to too much detail.

I’m 50/50 if I will attend this. I don’t think the meeting should be used to give current Board members a kicking. They try their best to keep the lights on etc. If it’s a case of looking for ideas for new investment and income that’s great, my question mark would be who would take the ideas forward.

Buchanan I think the term of giving the board a kicking is a bit extreme old chap! Do they get off Scot free and not face scrutiny about how things are currently being run at the reigart?

Seamus It’s a turn of phrase Seamys old bean but my point remains the same I hope doesn’t end up in a slagging match (if that puts it better) that would be counter productive. In terms of being held to account yes I think they are at AGM’s. Anyway say what you want about them on here and at the meeting I’ve lost a bit of interest in the the whole thing.

I agree with you on that point buckaroo this meetin needs to be productive however I do feel we as fans need to get a sense of where the club is going

From what I hear badly. To say nothing looks good would be painting a positive picture.

I'd say very well if only from the perspective of seeing what Paul Reilly is like in real life and what he thinks of Rovers fans which is nothing at all.
