No-one seems to have answered the question of what Mr. Reilly's interest in Albion Rovers is. He is not a supporter, so why was he at this meeting shouting at people? I do not understand. Why is he so obviously and noisily desperate to gain control of the club? Perhaps someone can explain, as I am very confused. Maybe we will get another week of articles in the Daily Record to explain it all.

I would say he is a deluded and dangerous idiot. If any of our major Shareholders back this guy then they are as bad as him. We know the club has problems and we are looking for answers and hope. This guy ain't it.

This guy ain't it. Agreed entirely. I cannot believe that any shareholder would back this person, I really can't. I dug out my history of Third Lanark book today: it always makes for interesting reading in times of Rovers' trouble.

One thing I took from the meeting and after spending the last 24+ hours reflecting on it Paul Reilly isn’t the answer
It’s becoming clearer to me that as a club we should be looking into the feasibility of becoming a fully fan owned club

I agree Grant The St Mirren model is another one I find really appealing I recently made a documentary for my HND television course regarding the fan ownership model interview Supporters Direct Scotland St Mirren and Stirling Albion

All avenues must be examined, apart from the Reilly one, which is utterly horrendous. Good points above.

But will a certain major shareholder allow fan ownership? I doubt it and there is the club's problem.

The board have been right to resist Reilly’s advances over the last year or so. To give in now will mean the club will be saddled with a loan of half a million which will kill us. The board must resist the temptation of falling for those saying Reilly is the only show in town. It’s a trap

Rumour has it that the major shareholder may now be willing to sell his shares, if the price is ‘right’. Hopefully he will clarify his position before the imminent(?) EGM.

A lot will depend on how the larger shareholders view Reilly`s offer (not us of no consequence as he said) that`s the crux of the matter. At the end of the day it will be for the shareholders to decide. Who will accept Reilly`s filthy lucre.....??

Please let it be true that the major shareholder will sell. (Not to Reilly obviously)

It’s a trap Words are important and note that it’s the only show in town rather than in the best interests of club. The news that the major shareholder is now willing to sell after numerous offers in the past being turned down only gives alarm bells that a deal is being done in the background and very soon we won’t have a club.

Maybe they will become shareholders in the housing development. Anyone know who bought the old window company land next door ?

Who, one asks, said it was 'the only show in town'? Someone seems very, very desperate to do this.
