I don’t get this talk of Saturday being a must win game. In fact it’s a pile of old poop. The last time we played Bonnyrigg in March that was a must win game in the league (which we failed) .
This is cup football where anything can happen - we could win and end up with a shite draw and get papped out the next round.A winnable tie ? Yes …but we will go in as underdogs. The Rose have improved this year and got a good 4-2 win against EF midweek to get back on the rails again. We need to play it like a cup tie unlike last Saturday because Bonnyrigg will be up for a battle. To say otherwise is just setting the team up to fail.

My reading of people saying "the season will be over" is that Rovers are out of contention in the league so nothing else to play for (save finishing bottom 😟)

There is also the Lowland League cup which is played after the league campaign ends.

For me a win against Bonnyrigg would mean a lot regardless of what happens in next round.
We need to see that there is some visible signs of progress this year. Hand on heart when you look at our league position, defeat to Kilwinning etc it's hard to see.
Defeat tomorrow and it's hard to see what will motivate the fans for remainder of the season. A good cup win could galvanise both fans and players.

I just hope they perform better than the last few weeks which culminated in that shambles of a performance against Kilwinning. Might as well go for it tomorrow as there is hee haw left…. Lowland league Cup excitement aside, to look forward to in the league.

No mention of a pitch inspection that I can see.

I think the fact the pitch inspection is so early when Bonnyrigg is an hour along the road is almost a guarantee the game is off
