Sums up our season. One of the better players in/out of the side. Possibly something else behind it. That’s football.

Spoke to him at the game last weekend, he’s been injured for a quite a while but I definitely think there’s more to this, the whole situation of not even playing him even when he was fit, he’d come on and play excellent so I definitely think there’s more to this

One of the better ones IMHO. Don't think the injury theory was always the case. Manager clearly didn't rate him.

Sh*te news. If the manager didn't rate him then that says more about the manager than the player. If it was down to injury alone then why is Paton still here? Sounds like Darren Young/Ciaran Donnelly all over again.

Yes this is dissapointing news. Once he was dropped from the team, our results declined after a promising start to season . He was man of the match in a game after coming on a couple of months ago and never had a look in after that. Hope he finds a new club soon .

Liked Callum Wilson, always looked fully committed and good with it.
You just know he will come back to haunt us.
Good luck to him whereever he goes.

Totally baffling. He is very similar to McMahon but I did think they worked well together.

Hes been training with Garrowhill Amateurs,
Has been fired out of his last 2 clubs for his attitude and fitness levels, I think it may be the same situation here unfortunately.

A good manager would be able to work on that if the player delivered when he played. A perfect example would be Charlie Reilly. His poor attitude was tolerated for that very reason. As for fitness? Two words. Michael Paton. A crap decision by a failing manager.

His attitude was possibly not good as he wasn't getting a chance to play in a very poor team.

Signs for League One Edinburgh City just a couple of days after leaving us.
Something not quite right there.

Rumour mill would suggest he was training with Garrowhill and wanted away from the senior game as it was 'too much for him'.
Then he signs for an SPFL side days later... bit of a jump. He has been underhanded about his situation and done the club over by the looks of it.
