Good to see the alumni of the worst season in our club's history getting some high profile action this weekend: Malcolm starting for Dumbarton against Rangers, Sonkur for Spartans against Hearts and Reilly getting a run out for Dundee against Kilmarnock. Have I missed anyone?

Harry Stone kept goal for Queen of the South against St Mirren. Played really well by all accounts - top ranked player for Queens according to Daily Record player scores. Had some fine games between the sticks for ourselves when on loan from Hearts. Also noted Charlie Reilly getting positive reviews from Dundee captain Joe Shaunghnessy when he came on

Interesting to see that Declan Byrne has now departed Dumbarton in search of more playing time Would take I like Byrne, however he’s had three years of pure hell on the injury front. Might just need a decent run of games to get going again, some club in L2 might risk it- possibly Elgin.
