Sorry didn't mean to upset anyone with my comments last night about the lowland league cup not being important to me. Of course every cup is important and I for one would be delighted if we won a cup in the next few years to add to the others I have been lucky enough to see us winning in my lifetime. My earliest memory as a young rovers fan was winning the 1986/87 Lanarkshire cup amd even though there was only 4 teams in it, it felt extremely important at the time and i was over the moon. Then we went on to win the league in 89 and of course in more recent times, with the play off win under Paul Martin at Anann to clinch promotion and the champinoship a few years later with Darren Young and Sandy. These were all great occasions which will live long in the memory. All I was meaning was I don't want to see us stuck in the lowland league forever. And if the lowland league cup was so important to Sandy and he really wanted to win yesterday then he wouldn't have rested Reidy, Fagan and Niyah for the match. I thought we sat very deep in the first half yesterday for a team that wanted to win a trophy and strollers were far more up for the game in that first half. We improved in the second half but the damage was done in the first 45. Hopefully next season we will be better in all competitions. Onwards and Upwards! I do get your point totally
