Saturday 2nd March LL V Linlithgow Rose away 3pm k-o Bus info here!Prestonfield, Braehead Road, Linlithgow, EH49 6HF. Admission: Adults £10, Concessions £7 and Under 16’s free. Please note these prices are for the ground only as an extra fee of £1.50 for adults and £1 for concessions applies for entry to their stand. Social club open before and after the match. Saturday sees Rovers first ever visit (well certainly in a competitive match anyway) to Prestonfield to face Rosey Posey as they're often referred to. It's just over a fortnight ago since Rovers comprehensively beat Rose 3-0 at Cliftonhill when Alan Reid scored a rare goal as well as strikes by Niyah Joseph and Bright Prince. Linlithgow currently occupy 7th place in the table having gained 43 points from 25 matches played. Rovers are 10th in the league with 38 points from 24 matches. A win on Saturday could see us climb to as high as 8th in the table and a loss could see us drop a place.

I'll miss this one, opting to take in a cup QF my grandson is playing. That means Rovers will have their best game in ages, even without Sean. Away victory by the only goal.

Linlithgow Rose 1, Albion Rovers 4. Do it boys. It will be the biggest away support they have had all season. Do us proud.

Don't want to predict. It'll be interesting how we adapt with Fagan away.
Hope we continue our 2024 run.

My prediction spot on for once and my grandson's team gubbed Airdrie 4-1 in a cup quarter-final, happy days. How did the new guy at centre-half do?

Great teamwork and grit shown today. Should have been more with some gilt edged chances from Nyah missed but 3 points nevertheless. This was a good traditional scrap with worthy opponents and it was white knuckle ride at times. That's 2 of West Lothians finest in Boness and Linlithgow completed and no goals conceded against them. We have the foundations well set - just need some creative experience in midfield/up front to take us forward. It is a pity that we do not have the loan players in our long term set up as again today they were immense at times. Good away support and the players recognised this at the end. Jambos next up in our journey.
