Thank you Phil for your contribution as photographer to the club over the past couple of seasons. Photographs are a diary of the club and useful to saddos like me who set up a twitter account to celebrate Roverspics from days gone by.
Volunteers have and always will be the bedrock of the club. It used ti be a strong tradition of the club that volunteers be it ballboys/programme sellers/ club shop assistants were adked to travel on the bus as a thank you. Not sure what the code is now. I’m not sure what the issue is with paid or unpaid workers giving criticism to players. Legendary kitman/handyman Jimmy Lawson was paid a pittance at Albion Rovers and he would be seen locking up at 10 o’clock at night…never stopped him calling legendary Albion Rovers players a bunch of “buckin’ useless buckin’ c**ts” ………and that was to their faces.

A quick check of the website shows Iain/Ian Mulholland is still listed as a Director of the Club. This is at odds with the recent Companies House update which terminated his appointment. The website doesn’t take a particularly long time to update (particularly when removing or adding content which isn’t long form articles) so it would seem unlikely this is a mere oversight. Perhaps some clarity can be provided on that? arfc.proboards.com/post/33130

That’s me, David Crichton, well spotted! We now have more volunteers and Ben showed me early last year just how quickly the website can be changed…much to my surprise. A weekly update really wouldn’t take much. I actually volunteered to help.
I note that some here see my contribution as negative, and that’s fine, but having read over my recent postings, I think it can only ever be described as questioning. It’s fair to say the Board I was on was subject to quite a bit (sometimes fairly; sometimes unfairly) so it would appear the problem seems to be with the questioner and not the questions.

So sad to see Phil go. An absolute professional who added an immense about of joy to the match day experience. Young fans loved to see their photos appear online and in the programme too. He will be sorely missed and very hard to replace. As Ben said 99% of fans agreed with Phil's thoughts on the last day photo. And can we have three positives about the club for every negative otherwise we are in danger of turning off every potential fan of this great football club.
Peter (Professional, joy and love were my three positives followed by general negative )
