Tuesday 19th March LL v Cumbernauld Colts home 7.45pm k-o Admission Adults £11, Concessions (OAPs, Students, People not in work, 14-17 year old) £6, Under 14 £3, Carers free Season tickets valid - voucher 14 Pay at the gate cash or card
Colts are currently 4th in the league table with 56 points from 29 matches played whilst Rovers are 9th with 42 points from 27 matches played. Rovers drew 1-1 back in early November at Broadwood and beat them there in the pre-season NL Cup. Their recent results haven't been so good.
I saw Colts draw 1-1 with Linlithgow Rose at Broadwood 9 days ago and thought they were fairly average and I predict a 1-0 home win!

Sandy just said in interview that Cumbernauld Colts were outstanding against Linlithgow. Perhaps a bit of Reverse psychology....

An extremely dull midweek fixture that will finish 1-1.

It wasn’t pretty but we’ll take it! A pretty drab game by all accounts but what a goal to win it. Backs to the wall at the end but the boys defended brilliantly and Ross made a couple of great saves, especially the one in the first half. Onto the next one.

Sandy was right, CC are a very good side who were way better than us in every department (except perhaps goalkeeper), but our lads battled hard for 90 minutes and got a great result.

Great win tonight! We’ve not lost this season to any of the Lanarkshire teams, wasn’t there tonight but chuffed with the win, don’t want to spoil the mood but I heard those idiots were back tonight and jumped over the wall and assaulted security, this is an absolute disgrace

Very decent game. Quick paced and think we were solid across the park. No wonder they sit second. Very good team. We worked harder and deserved 3 points.
How much extra time was there? I think another minute played the game would have finished 1 each.
MoTM - Riedy, or the Canadian or Barry Duncan for his goal. McCaw and Joseph played well too.

Colts were all over Rovers in the first 25 minutes or so and Ross had a great one on one save but Rovers came into it more after that and I thought they were the better team in the second half. Glad for Barry Duncan to score such a good goal as he hadn't been playing well. The on loan players were all excellent especially Hannah. Reid, McMahon and McCaw the others who impressed. Four young idiots tried to spoil things in the second half. Good to see the fifteen or so youngsters who would normally be behind the goal going mental when the goal went in. Crowd of 206 and probably all Rovers fans.

Another positive note (I'm leaving negative ones for another thread) tonight is that Rovers have climbed to 7th place on the table.

They were a decent team for sure, but they didn't score and we did. That is football. If you cannae score, ye urny in any way superior. Simple as that. One defeat in 12 league games for Rovers. Next!

Yes Barry kept giving the ball away first half hour but that was a cracking goal he scored and he was better in second half . All players you mentioned were excellent . Another great 3 points against a top 4 team . Another clean sheet and unbeaten at home this year . A good win marred by the idiots who ran on the park .

Not the best game but a cracker of a goal and another 3 points. Pity we have been talking more about eejits rather than this.
