Saturday 20th April LL v Berwick Rangers away 3pm k-o Shielfield Park, Shielfield Terrace, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 2EF There is no bus going to this game Admission: Adult £10, Concession £5, Under 16 free. Pay at the gate or online via Fanbase. They are also selling pie & pint hospitality tickets at £25 and afternoon tea hospitality at £35. Much has been mentioned of train problems to this game and indeed LNER trains are being disrupted by strike action and are probably best avoided. There is however another rail company which is not affected by strikes (other than perhaps being a tad busier than usual) which you can use. This is Cross Country trains who run from Edinburgh to Berwick. You can book trains online via trainline.com and other websites. You can get through tickets for trains from them from Sunnyside station etc. with Scotrail and change at Edinburgh for Berwick. They currently have single tickets from Sunnyside at £24.70 with the journey back being available for the same price. First class is also available on the Edinburgh to Berwick part of the journey but costs around 3 times as much. This match concludes Rovers first and hopefully penultimate season in the LL and it is of course our first visit south of the border since the Wee Gers were relegated in 2019 in what was a dogfight with Rovers to avoid the bottom place. We beat Berwick 1-0 at Cliftonhill back in October and they currently occupy 14th place in the table with 39 points and Rovers sit 9th with 46 points. Rovers cannot finish any higher that 9th but could slip 1 or even 2 places in the table as The University of Stirling and Cowdenbeath also sit on 46 points but have an inferior goal difference. My prediction is a good day out and a fairly welcome if also relatively unimportant 2-0 win.

A win would be nice but don't think many going are to bothered about the football!

LNER are running some trains back to Edinburgh after the game, our train back is at 19:41pm so a few pints in Berwick after the game it is then, hope we get a positive result to end the season, more so looking forward to the day out rather than the game

Is this the last game of the season? There's no cup or anything after the league finished?

That’s us all done. Just gives us a longer period to dream about our unbeaten 34 game run next season
