Neil Parry wow what a guy,
Ask him about the time he agreed to sign with the rovers and then just didn't show up because he got a phone call an hour earlier from airdrie and was up there signing for them, didnt even let rovers know, went completely radio silent as thats what the airdrie staff had told him to do😀
he knocked back a full time contract at airdrie a year later and phoned Darren Young looking to come back but was told he would be playing second fiddle to Ross Stewart, (was on tv on Friday as Partick Thistle number 1) so signed for alloa
At one point he was the best part time keeper in the country and would have had him back a few times over the years, how he is not number 1 at Clyde totally confuses me

He won’t be the first footballer on earth to change his mind about signing for one club then signing for another. Talking about keepers - Jack Leighfield who was in goals for our relegation season was Clyde’s no1 this season until Ian McCall got wise to him. He has disappeared from the game since Christmas.

LOL
I loved giving him pelters after he left, I enjoyed the fact he always gave them back

LOL I loved giving him pelters after he left, I enjoyed the fact he always gave them back He didn’t half. Normally put on a stonking performance as well. I remember one of the games at Cliftonhill Rovers were 1-0 up and he saved three dead certs from Josh Mullin. Two injury time goals from Airdrie won them the game, he got it right up the Rovers supporters who were giving him pelters

I'll miss this one as I have house guests from Canada who are only with us for a couple of days.

Looking forward to welcoming Neil along tomorrow. I’m sure it will be fascinating to hear about his career in general, and his years at the Rovers specifically. Our first ever goalkeeper guest.
All welcome
Ronnie

Another good meeting, Mr Parry was a great guest despite his Airdrie leanings Photo posted on behalf of Ronnie who made it into the pic this time due to Hugh Morrison relieving him of his photographic duties!
