Our Lowland League campaign commences on the 27th of July although East Kilbride who we may be due to play that day are involved in the Premier Sports Cup they have that Saturday off so it presumably will not affect us in that case. The LL fixtures are not expected to be released until the first week of July as they wait for the SPFL to release theirs and then work around them due to groundshares.
As usual all preseason games are subject to change and cancellation at any time so keep an eye on this thread!
According to Cumbernauld United on X the team just promoted to the West of Scotland League Division 1 (tier 7 of the pyramid) say they are visiting us on Saturday 6th July. **Now confirmed at home with k-o time TBA**
At the recent memories group the Gartcairn manager and former Rovers stalwart Mick Dunlop who was our guest speaker said we were to play them on Saturday 13th July although I don't think he said where this would take place. Gartcairn are in the WoS Premier Division. **Now confirmed away from home with a 2pm k-o**

I think we should invite Bradford City and Barrow back up for old times sake.
Used to be very common for English teams to have pre season tours in Scotland. Seldom happens now.

With all the moaning elsewhere about lack of signings I'll assume these are 5 a side matches! 🙄

In the Bradford match, I believe Dunky Shields hit a penalty which was so wide it 'almost hit the corner flag'. Happy days!!

See our new LL rivals have announced the following friendlies. Nice mixture :- 'With one friendly to be confirmed, here is our current friendly schedule with away visits to Livingston and Dundee North End bookending home matches against Stirling Albion, Edinburgh City, Bonnyrigg Rose and Kirkintilloch'.

Nothing signals our decline more than a friendly against a Queens Park B Team.....

Sat 29th Airdrie v Rovers 3pm k-o
Pretty early for Rovers to have such a game. Pretty steep admission prices £12 adult (all adults pay the same) and £5 for under 16’s. Tickets will be available online from Monday.
Rovers do get a share of the takings.
