Scotland the Timid!
Clarke must go.
Hungary deserved the win, they had a go, Scotland did not bother.

Whatever happens now time will tell but we were denied a stonewall penalty. Had it been checked to the level of the one given against us in the Germany game it would have been given. Had we scored we would be through. Robbed of our chance. An utter disgrace.

Stonewall penalty but im glad we didnt get it as we didnt deserve it.Not a single shot on target in a must win game. Without doubt the worst scotland side ive ever seen at a major tournament yet they couldav easily gone down as most successful in our history had they scored. Uefa have made it almost impossible to get knocked out in group stages but those clowns still managed it. Clarke has to go.We dont have the players and he has done well in getting us there but he cant take us any further

We did have shots on target despite what that dweeb of a commentator from the BBC said. Deserve it or not we should have had a penalty which if we had scored would have changed the game and we would be through. We were cheated.

We were far from cheated Jim. We were mince and we got what we deserved. If we got the penalty whoever took it wouldav probably passed it back to Angus Gunn anyway, given thats where the rest of our "forward" play ended up.

Still think we were cheated but I like the pass back to Gunn quip! Nice one.

I thought it was a penalty in real time, but after watching the replay I'm not so sure. Armstrong jumped across the defender and grabbed his shirt, so maybe he 'instigated the contact'. Of course what he should have done was stuck the chance away, he was clear through, but maybe he bottled it or thought a penalty would be a better option (and/or someone else's responsibility)?

Absolutely no guarantee we would have scored the penalty if it had been awarded and what response there may have been from Hungry either.
Honestly don't think anyone can say Scotland deserved to progress in that tournament. I think we were the worst team in it if I'm honest.

We'll never know as it wasn't checked and that stinks. As for being the worst team that is harsh. We lost key players due to injury and played well against Switzerland and Hungary after choking against Germany but didn't get the breaks.

At the time I didn’t think it was a penalty but on the replay thought it would be checked by VAR. when you look at the penalty given by VAR in the Poland- France game it was a certain penalty for Scotland. That being said our play probably merited a draw and no more. You can talk about penalties, injuries etc The old sage saying is you can only pee with the c**k you’ve got. The stand out reason we never went through was the manager’s inability or unwillingness to make the changes early enough to adjust to the situation.I think Clarke deserves credit for getting us to two championships, I think it will be his call if he stays or goes. If I was him I would go.

Never mind, the new season will be along soon where we can watch negative tactics and crap refereeing live on a weekly basis. But not til the second worst team in the euros are out. Engurland of course. Even their own fans have realised their crap!
