well what can i say, were was the so called loyal fans last night for the players presentation what a discrace i counted 10 fans attended to give the players a great send off as there will not be one player playing for Albion Rovers next season, also thought the attendance at yesterdays game was shocking to get more fans traveling from Livingston who had nothing but pride to play for, the future for our team is looking duller by the week big changes at board level to run the club as a football club and get people involved who have a football and buisness back ground at this time we dont have any, the previous managment teams deserved a lot mor from fans and directors.
all i hope for next season is more fans attending home games to give the club income that they will need to carry our team forward
I was at almost every home game last season,,and i made 14 away trips out of the 18 in the league aswell as 2 league cup away trips to berwick (on a tuesday night) and kilmarnock,,,I was also one of the 9 yes NINE fans that bothered to travel to brechin on a cold damp foggy tuesday night to see the boys win 3 precious points. However i couldnt attend saturday nights event,,,hope that doesnt make me a disgrace. But instead of asking where the fans were maybe we should be asking what we can do to attract more fans and also what the club are doing about it. And again back to that night of the brechin 9,,there was no bus and people like myself had to take their cars and give others a lift. Why no bus? lack of interest i suppose. But maybe,,just maybe,if more folk that claim to be fans and went to more games including away matches then a bus could be run to ALL games.

Seriously, just 10 fans there? That's not very good but hey I wasn't one of the 10 so well done to those who did go along.

There were not many there that night but there was definitely more than 9. To be honest it was a dreadful night and Brechin had very few fans too but we were reasonably well represented on what proved to be at the end of the year a vital victory. On the subject of attendance, I think our away support is better than most across our league, teams like Alloa, East Fife and Queen's bring less to Coatbridge than we take to theirs. I just wish we could bring a few more to our own home games.
