In real world it is not quite as easy as swapping pannini stickers in the playground. I am sure the club will do their best with available resources. We are not the most attractive club in the world.

......and maybe some of the players will realise that they are not as attractive to other clubs as they think.........

One advantage in attracting players which we do have is geography, ironically the very thing that depletes the crowds. Coatbridge is handy for many would be players to get to for training and of course games.

Unless anyone can correct me, I believe none of our first team squad have been offered new deals. Quite sad really, but I suppose disposable income at the club will be restricted for the coming season in order to keep the club financially viable. Which means the new manager has his work cut out to assemble his/our team.
The currant squad has put in a shift over the last few seasons and keeping us up was always the goal. Last season we were nipping ourselves as we ended the season on a high, fighting all the way to the last game (Stenny away 1-3) to narrowly miss out on the playoffs. This season a tie against Celtic. beating Killie and QOTS and other great games saw the team applauded off the park to a standing ovation. Yes sometimes it wasn't pretty but the team delivered.
The last few games we faded out a bit. Leaves me wondering if the players knew there was no new deals and the manager etc were off aswell. Kinda puts it into perspective really. After reading there was a poor attendance at the players presentation night (I wasn't there either btw) feel a bit guilty, bearing in mind, its been the clubs most successful period in its history. So just incase any of them read this forum, I would like to register my thanks for their efforts and good luck wherever they play next!
