As it's very tight at the top I've found out the following criteria will decide who tops the group on Saturday in the BetFred cup.
If clubs are level on points at the end of the group stage the criteria for separating them is 1) goal difference, 2) goals scored, 3) away goals scored, 4) matches won, 5) away matches won, 6) drawing of lots.

What an unexpected start to the season, just nuts, with such a young squad too.
Joint top scorer in competition in Alan Trouten! And penalty taking has picked up after the Stenny game.
QOS could still qualify so going to be a real hard game down there. Going by the criteria above then after Saturday results Rovers could lose out on goal difference if Stenhousemuir flop against Accies, at minute we are OK for goals scored but again depends on Accies v Stenny result, Accies are 7 goals up from away games, we are 5 from away game, QOS, Accies Rovers all on one win each, and all three matches won away.
If Rovers win 0-1 and Accies win 3-0, the two sides would have the same points, same goal difference, same goals scored, Accies would qualify with one more away goal!
If Rovers win 0-2 and Accies win 4-0, same points, same goal difference, same goals scored, same away goals scored, same matches won, Rovers go through on more away matches won.
Of course if QOS run riot then all this is academic, and you would expect the academics to win as well. Going to be a tense listen on Saturday to the wireless.
Obviously, I have too much time on my hands this morning.
