Just a thought. Frozen and soaked at EK, someone asked about Summer football. Oh, how we laughed.

No way. Some of us play cricket! The best afternoons at Cliftonhill are in the deep mid-winter.

Not for me. There's almost as much chance of a game being called off in July due to torrential rain as there is for a frozen pitch in January. Plus only 244 against Stenhousemuir last week, I reckon that's about the same size of crowd we would get for the same fixture on a Tuesday night in February, clearly not a massive upsurge in people wanting to come along and sit in the evening sunshine.

Yes - but at least the 244 were not frozen to the core by 9:30. Hamilton crowd also a bit disappointing - but would we have had such a good game on a freezing January night?

Can't beat this debate every year in Scotland! Let's just keep things as they are. I certainly know from my walking experiences just how unpredictable the Scottish weather/climate is.
