Still scratching my head at that one. Some folk blaming keeper for the late mix up,,but surely hes shouted and defender chose to touch it anyway. Defence needs sorted otherwise we will be in a lot of bother. How scunnered must our forward players feel, week after wek they are scoring for fun only to see the keystone cops appear at the back. Careful Sharkey you’re not allowed to criticise on this forum (even although it’s a forum). That being said 15 points from the first quarter is a brilliant return and if we average that each quarter it will be a good season . But today would certainly go down as what Albino Rover would describe as “nuts for the winter “. ie get the points when u can I had to hold back and delete a few lines haha. Yip defos every year at the moment we are in this league is a bonus and points at this stage are great. But at the same time even Brian Kerr must be wondering whats going on.Hes assembled argueably the best attacking scoring team in the last 50yrs,maybe longer, and the defence constantly undoes the good work because laurel and hardy at the back dont seem to know the basics

At 4.40pm we were 4-2 up and looking optimistic for a 5th and a fourth 5-2 away win - then a Gordon Strachan moment took over - we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory ! Fair play to East Fife - a strange comment given the throwabout nature of their players- they never looked like throwing in the towel. Our indecision and hesitancy at the back created an extra man for them and we were left with what Arthur Montford would describe as a disaster for Rovers ! Never mind still 3rd and entertaining the nation - we progress with pride - unlike the National squad.

Trouten is great; but he gave the ball away which caused the 4th goal. The goal-keeper was the main cause of all the calamity. I know, coz I waz there, as Max Boyce used to say.

Thank God the proper fitba is back in place of that international nonsense.
Didn't make it today unfortunately so can't really comment on the game. But to be 4-2 up with ten minutes left and lose 5-4 is criminal at any level. Yes it's great that we're in third blah blah but dearie me that's dire.
Still, it's exciting stuff.

Yeah, well it's better than last year's uber-defensive stuff which people on this board moaned about every week. Aye bad result, and we are all gutted, but a bit of perspective 'n' that everyone.

Its like eastenders on here.Last year was too defensive, this years,,,,well nobody knows lol. I cant believe rovers fans slate darren young,,,,thats a different matter. I agree its value for money just now and i love the way we are playing (upfront),,but if goals dry up it could be 5-0 defeats. Instead of laughing maybe we should be worried our defence will drag us down in 2weeks time,,,i know Brian Kerr will be

Maybe I'm being picky-but we have had nearly 3 months to work on defensive systems, and according to the numbers-we have sprung a few leaks.

Can I just say, don't comment if you weren't there today.
The guys put in a great shift and it was a very entertaining game.
A couple of defensive lapses cost us dearly - ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!

Cannot believe Albion Rovers scored FOUR AWAY GOALS and LOST. I left with 2 minutes to go and we were 4-3 up. By the time I got in the car it's 5-4. Darren Young of East Fife should be ashamed of the diving antics of his players. And we should've put defenders on as subs late in the game not strikers. Still. Onwards and upwards. I must also add that the tall guy in Rovers dugout shouting at the ref and officials needs to calm down. There were a few kids there today and they look up to our team for examples to follow. I know it was a very dirty game and East Fife were a disgrace but please don't swear constantly. However I loved your passion. Im glad I didn't see Darren's gloating smirks at the full time whistle. Finally, great to see our friend from Newcastle at match today. He is a wonderful man ( looks like Santa ). I've forgotten his name. Big Jai was awesome today when he came on as a sub. He could've scored a hat trick if he just believed in himself and didn't hold back. Jimbo said he'd have been happy with a 4-4 draw. It almost ended that way! Why did you leave early Peter?? Surely you know by now what can happen with the Rovers - Ha Ha
