VERY smart venue for this year's quiz.
The defending Champions should be back to attempt to defend our title!

Looking forward to it. Always a great event. And yes my brain will be for hire again. Food will be included in the price and there will be the usual brilliant prizes in the raffle.

For those not familiar with the bowling club it is situated within West End Park aka the daisy park. Just off Blair Road across from the entrance to Drumpellier Avenue. It's a straight (though undulating) walk from Blairhill train station.

VERY smart venue for this year's quiz. The defending Champions should be back to attempt to defend our title! The crack squad are now confirmed - Ian Lochhead, Robert Lochhead, Raymond McGregor & Susan Kirkland! Bring it on!!

Working right now on making the questions even more fiendish than before. Andy and Mary will fall out with me again.

I know the Supporters Trust will be looking for prizes for the raffle at the quiz night this Friday so the club are happy to donate 2 prizes: boardroom hospitality for 2 at an away game and boardroom hospitality for 4 at a home game. Looking forward to the night.

There always quality stuff in the raffle (as long as folk bring it) - crystal glasses, booze, chocs, more booze, hospitality, even more booze etc.

Following discussions with mildrover, the hospitality packages will form part of an auction. I'm sure you'll all agree that this makes more sense. Therefore, in addition to the usual raffle prizes we will have the following available which will form part of the auction.
1. Boardroom hospitality for 4 at a Rovers home game of your choice (excl Airdrie due to boardroom capacity) 2. Boardroom hospitality for 2 at a Rovers away game of your choice. 3. A 17-18 home Rovers shirt signed by the squad. 4. Football signed by the 17-18 Rovers squad. 5. Signed hardback copy of Thirty Miles to Paradise by Bobby Lennox 6. Signed paperback copy of My Story by John Greig.
Please feel free to DM me with any bids that you'd like to make in advance of the night.
Thanks

I understand why an auction makes financial sense but it does mean that 95% of attendees won’t be able to take part which is disappointing. Booze & sweets & crystal glasses it is as their goal now.

Not necessarily so, there’s a few prizes that I’d say dont necessarily fit in the aforementioned list.

We’ve had some fantastic donations of various items for the raffle tonight which include but not limited to;
1. Boardroom hospitality for 2 at a Rovers home game of your choice (excl Airdrie due to boardroom capacity) 2. Signed Retro Rovers top 3. Football signed by the squad
Thanks to all for their kind donations. Particularly, the board of directors at the club, St Andrews Bar and the Shimla Cottage.
