Condolences to Wullie’s family and friends. His family were steeped in Rovers history-he was very proud of the fact that his mother used to wash the strips from many moons ago.
RIP Wullie

Sad news indeed. We used to wait for the 201 bus after the game(s) and chatted a couple of times. A really decent guy.

Condolences to Willie's family and friends on their sad loss from all at the club. Willie was a real character and a Rovers man through and through. Another Rovers stalwart gone and one of the last people to call me son! I believe there will be a deserved appreciation to Willie in a forthcoming programme.

Great turnout today from ARFC. Lovely to see the Rovers crest on each page of the Order of Service. John Smith and I made a superb singing duo that Bill would have been proud of. Great to see Chairman and Secretary at funeral alongside Bill Walker and our resident video photographer among others.
Makes me so proud to be a Rovers fan.
