The pitch is looking great and the ball's rolling fine on it. The ref complemented us on the surface condition😀

I think we will probably concede a goal - but Trouten and co will deliver the goods - 4-1 home victory !

For purely selfish reasons I was hoping the game was off cause I’m loaded with the cold. Well done to the volunteers for getting the game on though. I’ve never seen us beat Airdrie at home in my short spell supporting Rovers so a guaranteed home win today! 2-1

A well deserved point. We had most of first half despite not causing airdrie much trouble. Second half airdrie were better and sharper,no surprise given their full time status. I thought our defence played well and despite losing 2 goals we looked quite comfortable at the back. The boys seem to have a never say die attitude now and hopefully that spirit will carry on throughout the month. Decent start to the new year,,bring on alloa.

Pretty poor game really. Rovers were better over the piece I'd say but at 2-1 down I'd happily have taken a draw.
Vi(c)toria played well today and turned the Airdrie defence inside out to set up the first goal for our very own goal machine Trouts. So fair play to him. Holmer deservedly got man of the match. Everything good goes through him.
Keeper was unlucky at the first Airdrie goal. Great save then beaten by the ricochet; you couldn't make it up.
Airdrie fans with their smoke bombs might find there are some consequences I guess. Crowd of just over 1000 bringing some much needed cash in.
Much better than being at work or the shops at this time of year!! Another wee win at Alloa would be a good start to the year.

Battling performance again. Perry was my man of the match: great gutsy display in defence, and set up the dramatic second goal. Rovers not at their best, but coped well and fought back. Also thought young Danny in goal performed very well. Anyway, well done boys: great finish again.

Cant remember who got man of match but it was a fix lol,,for me it was either perry or fisher.Young conor had a great game aswell especially the tracking back he done. Conceeded 2 goals and i dont think defence could be blamed for either, for a change lol

Yip Thought Perry did well against Furtado who was a bit of a handful.
A deserved point in a battling performance only Lightbody and McMullin the weak links who were not playing in their natural positions. Would have been utter travesty if we hadn’t got anything.
Much better from Victoria put in a shift and even won some headers. Deserved the Vitoria Cross medal for that performance.

Fully deserved point which in a way, like QP the other day, felt like a win. Dreadful conditions at times, but same for both teams. First half was a non event other than first few minutes, thought big Vitoria, who looked decent in spells, made wrong choice to shoot from tight angle when cut back was on for 2 unmarked runners for a tap in, always looks easy right enough from where I stand.
Bumper crowd.....today was the day for the 50/50.....say that every new year but again, wasn't to be.
On with the game.....1 up for a goal that seemed to be in slow motion, so much so I was just waiting on a linesman flag which thankfully never came....great shift/turn from Vitoria to Put it on a plate. That was the difference, that wee bit of individual skill. Thought we were really unlucky with their equalising goal with the way it rebounded into net, especially unlucky for Daniel in goal.....thought he had a great game too....commanding and good decision making, despite the relocation of the animals made homeless at the recent London zoo fire, all now occupying the terracing immediately behind him. Lost another quickly after that and that was me slipping back into perplexed mode.....but credit where it's due.....a wee bit if pressure by the boys at the end and got the reward with last kick of the ball.
D7.....bang on.....poor game.... but gee me that any day rather than January sales.
Also wee special.mention for Alan Reid.....400 games and still counting.....congrats to him. Love the way he completely dingyed the guard of honour which was so professionally Put in place for him....instead opting to play redge rover with fish and break through the first few players to get to his position.....no nonsense. Nice touch by club/trust to mark occasion for him.
Onwards to alloa now.
