Hi all, I have just heard from a reliable source at the A&C Advertiser that a new consortium will take over at ARFC depending on the club staying in League 1.
They are Bernie Slaven who will be Chief Executive, Peter Houston will be Director of football, Steve Evans will resign from Peterborough to take over as manager and John Gemmell will be Chief Scout. They want Albion Rovers folk who know and are passionate about the club. Ronnie Boyd will stay on until the transfer goes as smooth as possible. They also want to put ARFC and Coatbridge at the heart of the Scottish football map.
So the Donald Findlay rumour is false and this Mr. Fagan will not be involved either. Exciting times ahead and never a dull moment at ARFC.
