The Club are delighted to say that Terry Gillooly has taken up the post of match day Safety Officer replacing Paul Reilly who left the club in December. Since then we have been very grateful to a number of officers from other clubs who have stepped in to fulfil this vital role. We have had safety officers from Airdrie, Motherwell, Hamilton, Stranraer and Edinburgh City standing in and we thank them all ensure that safety matters were looked after properly.
Secondly, on the pitch Scott McLean has joined us until the end of the season and from his performances as a trialist, it looks likely that Scott could make a positive contribution to our fight to say in the third tier. Scott was previously at Kilmarnock FC.
New Faces #3 We mentioned a weeks ago that we were trying to increase the number of members on the Rovers’ board from the small band of three. I am pleased to announce that three new members have joined our board of directors: Mark Hunter, Craig Downs and Bill Shields (Connor Shields uncle) have joined Ian Benton, Eddie Hagerty and Ronnie Boyd in working to ensure the Rovers’ continue in the right direction.
New Faces #4 The club are happy to announce a further 2 new directors.
Colin Woodward (current club secretary) and Lindsay Hamilton have joined the board.

Glad that Terry is on board - a Rovers fan! Also good to hear that the BOD is to expanded - too much to do for the few we have had.

Mark Hunter has been attending supporters’ trust meetings for a while and Bill Shields is a Labour councilor. That’s about all I can add.

Echo the above, and good to have someone from a political background involved as getting Community and Local Govt interest expanded and generate the clubs profile.
